Maybe your mind doesn't have an off switch.
You replay conversations.
You worry about things that haven't happened.
You go over decisions again and again.
You think about what might go wrong — and then what might happen if that goes wrong.
And however much you tell yourself to “just stop thinking about it”, your brain carries on regardless.
Maybe you call it anxiety.
Maybe it's overthinking.
Or maybe you simply feel mentally exhausted.
Does any of this sound familiar?
Your mind is constantly busy.
You struggle to switch off and relax.
You worry about things that haven't happened yet.
You replay conversations or situations.
You find making decisions exhausting.
You avoid things because they feel easier not to deal with.
You doubt yourself even when you know you're capable.
You feel stuck, but don't know how to move forward.
You sometimes don't even know what you're anxious about — you just know something doesn't feel right.
Thinking things through can be useful.
But sometimes you don't find an answer.
You just find another question.
What if?
Maybe I should...
Did I get that wrong?
What if something goes wrong?
Trying to tell yourself to stop thinking rarely works.
Instead, we can look at what's keeping the pattern going and what you'd like to be different.
You don't have to feel anxious every minute of the day.
Sometimes it's more:
“I know what I want to do. So why can't I actually do it?”
Fear, self-doubt, overthinking and old patterns can all keep us in the same place.
You may simply want to feel more confident, make decisions more easily, stop avoiding things or finally take that next step.
That's something we can explore together.
You don't need a diagnosis.
You don't need to know exactly what's wrong.
You can simply say:
“My head is all over the place and I'm fed up with it.”
That's enough.
We can have a proper conversation about what's going on and whether I feel I can help.
I'll be honest with you.
If I think I can help, I'll tell you how.
If I think you'd be better off taking a different route first, I'll tell you that too.
No pressure. No sales pitch.
It's your life. It's your call.
