Complimentary Consultation -
When you are struggling, the people closest to you feel it too. It is a heartbreaking reality that menopause has been called a "divorce danger zone." In fact, over 60% of divorces* in the UK are initiated by women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s, the prime menopause years.
7 in 10 women say that the menopause put a significant strain on their marriage or relationship. It is incredibly hard to stay connected when you are exhausted, your libido has vanished and you feel like you are constantly on the edge.
But it isn't just us. While we are navigating our own hormonal storm, our partners are often going through their own version of "the change." The Male Menopause (or Andropause) is very real and I work with men just as closely as I do women to navigate this.
Men, you might be noticing that your "get up and go" has gone. You might be more irritable, losing muscle tone or feeling a "fog" that makes work feel like a mountain. Around 2 million men in the UK^ are currently struggling with low testosterone and they often feel just as lost as we do.
I don’t do clinical lectures. I don’t do medical jargon. I offer a way to quiet the noise, clear the mental mess and get you back to feeling like yourself again. My approach is simple, straightforward, and designed for people who don't have the patience for "patient" talk.
No pressure. No medical charts. Just a complimentary, conversation to see how we can get the real you back
It is completely natural to have questions before starting something new. Here are the things people most often ask me before our first session:
How many sessions will I need? There is no "one size fits all" answer because your experience is unique to you. We will discuss this properly during our complimentary consultation so I can understand what you are going through. Usually, I suggest starting with a package of three sessions. This gives us the time to start clearing the fog and making real progress. After those three, we will review exactly where you are and decide together how to move forward.
Is this only for women? Not at all. While the menopause affects 13 million women in the UK, I also work closely with men navigating the "Male Menopause" (Andropause). Whether you are struggling with your own hormonal shift or you are a partner looking for ways to support your relationship through this "perfect storm," my door is open to you.
Do I need a formal diagnosis or a blood test from my GP? No, you don’t. While some people come to me with a clinical diagnosis or are already on HRT, many others simply feel "off," overwhelmed, or like they are "going mad." You don’t need a medical label to deserve support. If you feel like your hormones or your mood are getting in the way of your life, that is reason enough to seek help.
Is what I say confidential? Absolutely. Your privacy is my priority. Everything we discuss is held within a safe, professional and confidential space. The only rare exception would be if I were seriously concerned about your safety or the safety of someone else, a standard professional requirement that I would discuss with you in our first meeting.
What if I feel too "foggy" or overwhelmed to talk? That is perfectly okay and actually very common. We take things at your pace. If the brain fog is heavy that day, we might focus on simple calming techniques or grounding exercises until you feel clear enough to speak. You are always in control of the speed we move at.
